I was a junior designer and publications coordinator for the 2019 edition of this ambitious contemporary art exhibition. The biennial curated and exhibited the works of over 100 artists. I managed the workflow and delivery of all print media and branded collateral– including exhibition catalogue, visitor guidebook, and more. Under the direction of the Lead Designer, I designed several supporting collateral pieces.
Biennial artist catalogue. 192 page + cover, black plus two spot colors (PMS 021, PMS 273). Quantity: 5,000. Printed by Prolific Group: Winnipeg, Canada. Within this role, I managed project timelines, coordinated all contributed text, images, and edits. I led cost negotiations with printer. I made minor typesetting corrections as directed by Lead Designer.
The print projects for the Biennial included: Biennial catalogue, visitor’s guidebook, children’s guidebook, posters, and press packets.

Outside of the three major print pieces, I took direction from the style guide and designed most of the Biennial’s physical collateral and merchandise. Feather flags, T-shirts, tote bags, artwork labels, sandwich boards, and more. For the exhibition, I worked with vendors to produce posters, flyers, artwork labels, wayfinding signs, media packets for press, and other collateral.
